Il suo nome risuona come l'eco di antiche fiabe. Tuttavia, Tamberlano ha scelto di non identificarsi con i severi conquistatori del passato. Ha intrapreso, invece, un cammino fatto di delicatezza, empatia e attenta osservazione della natura. Per lui, il cognome D’Elia non evoca più un fuoco profetico, ma semplicemente la calda luce del sud.
L'artista ha trovato la sua vera voce nell'arte naïf. Lavorando con pastelli a olio e acquerelli, crea dipinti d'interni profondamente sinceri e toccanti. Le sue opere celebrano la filosofia dello slow living, l'estetica della quotidianità e una profonda armonia naturale.
